At the BIND Open Innovation Platform, we seek startups with Intelligent Industry, Clean Energy & Sustainability, Health Tech, GovTech and Food Tech solutions. Some of the technologies on demand include the following: Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Additive Manufacturing, Immersive technologies, Computing, Energy, Food and Health Solutions, and much more!
To take part in the Acceleration Program, SME Connection and GovTech initiatives, startups need to meet the following requirements:
Be legally established
Have a minimum viable product
Startups 8 years old or younger
What is it?
The BIND Open Innovation and Acceleration Program offers startups a unique opportunity to both receive impactful acceleration support in addition to developing a paid project with one or more clients.
Dynamic startup teams reach 70 well-respected Corporate Venture Clients looking for external solutions to their internal digital transformation needs. Venture Clients invest in startups by contracting them for real use case projects and acting as reference clients while startups gain traction in the marketplace.
While implementing disruptive technologies, participating startups get 24 weeks of active acceleration, high-impact workshops, a dedicated expert mentor, regular networking events, meetings with Corporate Venture Clients, access to investors and public funding, services from our technology partners and unparalleled business support.

What is it?
The BIND SME Connection offers multiple benefits to startups and scale ups including positioning in the marketplace, product validation from medium-sized businesses, and reference clients within the Basque Industrial Ecosystem.
This initiative has 18 SMEs who are active members of 5 Cluster Management Organizations. The members put forward a series of industry specific challenges that directly affect their businesses and seek to hire the best solutions presented. Startups and scale ups respond to the sector-led challenges by proposing solutions and developing innovative projects during a 32-week cycle.

What is it?
Focused on innovation in the public sector, startups reach 9 Government Organizations from the Basque Country seeking groundbreaking technologies. Members of BIND GovTech identify individual technological challenges they are facing and seek solutions that enhance the accessibility, efficiency, and sustainability of public services.
This 32-week initiative presents innovative startups and scale-ups with the opportunity to work on real use case projects in the public sector and access training to promote the success of collaborative projects with government agencies. As with all 3 of the BIND startup programs, there is no fee to participate nor apply, companies retain their intellectual property and no equity is taken.
